On October 18, the Community Exploration class went to Mystic Aquarium. It’s not very far from here.It takes about 50 minutes to drive there from UConn.
When we got there it was around 11:00 , so we just arrived at the right time.Because there was a feeding show at 11:15, we looked at beluga for a long time the fish were swimming and ate food. They were really, really cute. I had hoped I could touch them , but unfortunately it’s impossible. By the way,the white whale has another name, it’s called beluga. After the staff finished feeding , we went inside to see the exhibit. It was so amazing that I saw kinds of fish that I have never seen before. For example, fluorescent jellyfish and big spawn that had live fish inside. At 1:30 , we went to watch a sea lion show. The trainer taught sea lions showed us lots of skills. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to stay here, because today we had two places to visit. So after the sea lion show we had our lunch and then went to the seaport.
At the aquarium, there were many kinds of fishes , insects and mammal animals that live in the oceans. The aquarium is a good place to study about oceans.
The score for this trip is 7.5.
